Scope of Work:
This new Head Start and Child Development Center provides approximately 11,500 square feet and is designed to accommodate approximately 70-80 children of all ages on a full-time basis. This learning facility is designed and constructed with the needs of the children and teachers at the forefront. Shelving and storage areas are placed for easy accessibility and convenience. The facility has amenities such as administrative offices, lobby/receptionist area, pre-K, toddler and infant classrooms; full-sized kitchen, dining area, utility/laundry room, multiple and age-appropriate playground equipment, an outdoor nature trail, and a tornado / storm shelter. An especially pleasant feature to this new facility is the covered drive, enabling parents to escort their children in and out during inclement weather conditions. All spaces are ADA compliant.
