DASR/RAPCON Facility
This project consisted of SGS designing and constructing a new 15,100 sq. ft. Digital Airport Surveillance Radar and Radar Approach Control (DASR/RAPCON) Facility at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. The new state-of-the-art DASR/RAPCON facility replaces a 50 year old facility and provides sufficient space for the new radar system and alleviates crowded working conditions.
This facility houses the Air Traffic Control Training functions in addition to the DASR/RAPCON functions. The DASR/RAPCON facility includes the following:

Additionally, this project included the construction of three new holes on the Base Golf Course to make room for the new DASR/RAPCON facility. This project is AT/FP compliant, ADA Compliant, and is Certified as LEED® Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council.
