Scope of Work:

SGS served as the Prime Contractor / Design-Builder on this Child Development Center renovation for the Delaware Tribe of Indians. The scope of work included repairing and renovating the 7,510 sq. ft. childcare facility to a more modern and useful space for the Delaware Tribe of Indians. Renovations of the Childcare Center consisted of the facility being completely gutted and remodeled including extensive interior demolition; reconfiguration of all spaces; renovation of classrooms, administrative offices, reception area, kitchen, utility/laundry room and restrooms; removal/replacement of walls, ceilings, flooring, millwork, and finishes; complete removal/replacement of the roofing, windows, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Additions to the facility included multiple age-appropriate outdoor play areas; a 310 sq. ft. tornado/safe room, access controls, exterior canopies, french drain storm system, parking lot, sidewalks, exterior lighting, electric operational fence, decorative fencing around entire facility, secured access gates and landscaping. This Child Development Center includes High Performance and Sustainable Building features and is ADA compliant.
