Information System Facility    

 

This project consists of constructing a multi-story Information Systems Facility (ISF), approx. 56,000 SF to provide telephone services for the entire White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) and will also support WSMR’s development of warfighting equipment for America’s solders. This facility will have state-of-the-art network systems, telephonic, voice, and enterprise storage equipment to support installation wide Communication Network Services. Specific spaces within the ISF include:

  • Laboratory Space

  • Server Farm 

  • Information Assurance Secure Operations Center

  • Telecommunications Center

  • Data Center

  • Technical Support Network Data Center

  • Enterprise Storage Systems

  • Telephone Switch Room

  • Breakrooms and Restrooms

Supporting features included storm sewer access, sanitary sewer access, utility access, parking lots, access drives, sidewalks, lighting, security fence, communication systems, and landscaping. Additionally, the scope of work includes demolition of two (2) existing buildings totaling 22,180 SF.
