Scope of Work:

SGS was the Design-Builder / Prime Contractor on this new 6,600 sq. ft. Community Center for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The "state of the art" Community Center is complete with administration offices; banquet facilities; a fully equipped commercial kitchen with walk-in freezers, dishwashing machine, ovens, stove, fryer, mixing machine, ice dispenser, dry storage, serving window, and dining area; exercise area; and 24-hour monitoring capabilities for emergency situations.

SGS's scope of work also included constructing twelve (12) duplexes for a total of 24 living units, all in a quaint communal area. Each unit was approximately 1,200 sq. ft., for a total of 44,680 sq. ft. Features of each unit include metal roofing; EIFS and brick masonry exterior; a fully functioning kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, and laundry area; emergency call switches for the residents and covered carports.

As a safety feature, each housing unit is equipped with a concrete tornado/safe room to protect residents from Oklahoma's uncertain weather.
